The Abnormal Route: Climbing Huayna Potosí
Huayna Potosí is known in Bolivia as the “easiest 6,000m peak in the world.” Having not climbed any other peaks over 6,000m, GMS member Keegan Siebenaler couldn’t disagree. But his path to the top of Huyana Potosí was anything but straightforward. Instead, it culminated an extended stay in Bolivia and a multiyear project. Keegan will entertain with stories and media from his trip to Urchini and the heights of the Cordillera Real.
Dinner: GMS will provide beverages (non-alcoholic), plates, cups, utensils, and napkins. Please bring a dish to share and a serving utensil. Pre-registration is requested to help with planning.
