Mt Frazier is on the eastern boundary of the Bob Marshall Wilderness about 25 miles west of Bynum, Mt. The day was a partly sunny day with temperatures in the 50ís. This made it a very comfortable day to climb. We hiked for 2.3 miles through the Blackleaf Canyon to the Southwest corner of the mountain to start our climb to the summit. Along the way, we saw early spring flowers and fossils of shells and coral that wants covered the area thousands of years ago. All GMS climbers made it to the summit of 8315 feet and enjoyed lunch on the fossilized beach from the past. This is a favorite climb for this was my third climb in two years to this summit and will be more in the future. We thank the Lord for the great weather and thank Him for safe climb as we adore His creation.
